Vulture Software
What Vulture Software Is
Vulture Software is an aviation market intelligence portal I designed and developed for aircraft sales professionals. It uses advanced data collection and aggregation techniques to pull aircraft market data from sources globally, then turns that raw feed into usable insight: what is for sale, where it is listed, how asking prices are moving, and how individual airframes compare against the market.
The portal tracks thousands of data points across the aircraft-for-sale landscape and distills them into the key market insight jet sale brokers actually need: pricing trends, inventory movement, and comparable aircraft, current and in one place instead of scattered across listing sites, spreadsheets, and gut feel.
Data Collection & Aggregation at Scale
The hard problem in aircraft sales data is not finding it, it is normalizing it. The same aircraft appears across multiple sources with different naming, different equipment lists, and different price histories. Vulture Software handles the collection, deduplication, and aggregation layer so brokers see one clean picture of the market rather than a dozen contradictory fragments of it.
That aggregated view is what makes price movement visible. When you can see how a model's asking prices drift week over week across the global inventory, you can advise clients on timing and pricing with evidence instead of anecdote.
The Turboprop Appraisal Tool
The second pillar of the platform is an advanced appraisal tool I developed working directly with an aircraft sales professional in the space, purpose-built for turboprop aircraft. Standard appraisal software produces generic outputs that miss what actually moves turboprop values: specific mission profiles, equipment and modification states, maintenance program enrollment, and the nuances of individual airframes.
The tool layers institutional knowledge, real appraisal logic from someone who values these aircraft for a living, on top of the standard appraisal baselines. The result is tailored to the specific appraisal needs of turboprop transactions and produces valuations that reflect how these aircraft actually trade, not how a generic model assumes they do.
Deployed, In Use & Advancing
Vulture Software is not a prototype. The tool is deployed and in active use, and it keeps advancing: new data sources, refined aggregation logic, and continued development of the appraisal models as real-world use feeds back into the system.
This project represents the other half of my aviation work: not marketing the industry, but building the intelligence infrastructure the industry runs on.
